PhD Position in Computer Science Optimization of 3D reconstruction using images at University of Upper Alsace


The PhD position is available for motivated students who have a master’s degree in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics. The work of this thesis aims to develop a tool for creating a 3D model from a 2D image.

Founded in 1975, the University of Upper Alsace is a versatile teaching and research centre based in France and has more than 8000 students with about a hundred courses offered.

1. Admissible Criteria:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
  • Good knowledge of metaheuristics and learning techniques.
  • Working knowledge of programming in Python/C++.
  • Good command of English.
