USTH Students Wins 2nd Prize of Overall Rankings-The 20th National Physics Olympiad For Students

The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi has been honored to participate in the National Physics Olympiad for students for 4 consecutive years. The 20th National Physics Olympiad for students was held at Tan Trao University  (Tuyen Quang City) from 20/04/2017 to 23/04/2017. The 20th National Physics Olympiad for students attracted over 500 talented students and their physics lecturers/teachers and experts nationwide from 44 universities and institutes across the country to participate.
 

The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi with 5 members with excellent performance, was placed second in the overall  rankings. For the individual prizes, USTH students have won 4 second prizes, 2 third prizes and a consolation prize with the details below:

The National Physics Olympiad for Students is organized annually held jointly by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association, and the Vietnam Physics Association. This event aims to improve the quality of teaching physics, and to recognise outstanding students in physics, as well as to promote the enthusiasm for studying physics. The Olympiad is a venue for students who share a common interest in physics, as well as to exchange experiences in studying and researching the subject.
