University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH, also called Vietnamese French University) is an advanced-model international public university established under the Bilateral Agreement between Vietnamese and French Governments signed on November 12, 2009, and the Decision No. 2067/QĐ-TTg dated December 9, 2009 of Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan.
USTH delivers degrees in compliance with the European Bologna system (LMD) (Bachelor – Master – PhD) with the Bachelor program of 3-year duration. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree, USTH encourages students to pursue a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate Degree which is co-accredited by France and Vietnam. USTH’s teaching methods are based on high level of practices in research and development laboratories, and internships in Vietnam and France. The pedagogic teams of USTH are 100% composed of international and Vietnamese Professors and Doctors with international teaching experiences. The official language used in teaching at USTH is English.
