USTH visits Hanoi-Amsterdam high school to discuss long-term relationship

The USTH delegation, led by Prof. Patrick Boiron, Rector; together with Prof. Nguyễn Văn Hùng, Vice Rector; Mr. Gérard Guasquet, Director of Administration, lecturers and some others, pay a working visit to Hanoi Amsterdam High-school for the Gifted today, December 11. Ms. Lê Thị Oanh, Principal of Hanoi Amsterdam High-school for the Gifted warmly welcomes the USTH delegation and gives an update of the performance of the school, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary later this month. The two parties then have an open discussion related to all potential areas of co-operation for the immediate future, particularly the favorable policies of USTH for the gifted students who win prizes in national and international science-technology competitions, how to give the right tertiary education and career orientation to the pupils right from their 10th grade, and how to support the science-technology projects that the pupils are implementing or want to implement... Both sides also agree to work out an annual schedule for bilateral co-operation and will meet again soon to discuss the action plan. So far, some 35 pupils of Hanoi Amsterdam High-school have enrolled as students at USTH.
