The conference, jointly organised by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and USTH, starts today, November 26th, at the auditorium of USTH, 18 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Hanoi. H.E, Prof. Nguyễn Việt Tiến, Vice Minister of Health of Vietnam delivers the opening speech at the conference:

Entitled "The future of reproductive biotechnology and stem cell medicine for sustainable development and human health
", the conference serves as the regional premium forum for scientists and students from different Asian countries, aiming to assist them to build knowledge and partnerships with world experts and institutions of higher research and application related to Reproductive biotechnology and Stem cells. There are also display tables and booths of various companies and institutions who specialize in reproductive biotechnology and products.
Later today and in the next 2 working days, there are specific sections and forums where young scientists and students can discuss the future of global research and innovation, especially with the invited Nobel Laureate in Physiology/Medicine in 2008, Prof. Francoise Barre-Sinoussi, President of International AIDS Society (IAS) who will give the Keynote Lecture: "Achievements of HIV sciences and challenges in the 21st century”
